Hi, I am Christine Rhee

I am an artist, lifelong learner, mother, INFP, Enneagram 4, sushi lover, bunny adopter, and soul chaser. I read (a lot) and take in beautiful stories, movies, pictures, and words. This all comes together somehow and emerges as multilayered images, quotes, colors, and paintings that I hope connect with others like a big warm hug or a gut punch.

My own journey started in Seoul, Korea, then SoCal (Southern California), back to Korea, more SoCal, NorCal, and then finally settling down in San Francisco. Having juggled both Korean and Californian/American cultures and moving around a lot, I most closely identify as a third-culture citizen of the world. My work explores universal and liminal experiences and moments of transformation and growth as we navigate our complex and beautiful lives.

I truly believe following your authentic journey through life is the best contribution you can make for yourself and others. So many amazing pieces of art and writing have helped me discover and keep going on my path. My hope is that my work can support and encourage something like that in you.
